Louis Vuitton Ads

I love Louis Vuitton. The styling, the designs, the bubble gum 50's aesthetic, and the lighting is amazing. The ad gives off a soft and sweet vibe but is still bold and fresh. Louis Vuitton Artistic Director Marc Jacobs did a beautiful job with the ice cream parlor feel and Steven Meisel took beautiful photographs.

Jason Wu for Target

I just heard about the Jason Wu for Target collection. Jason Wu's fashions are ladylike with a modern twist. He is the famed designer who made Michelle Obama's inaugural gown. This collection features dainty blouses, nipped in waists, bows, and pleated skirts. He said he was inspired by French new-wave films. "I wanted this collection to have a sophisticated voice with an American sportswear spin." Wu said. I find the collection to be just that and it's even more appealing because it is affordable.
